My Documentary mainly uses conventions. It follows some techniques that mainly all documentaries use. I followed the following ones:

1) Archival Footage and Photographs, this means the use of old photographs, newsreel footage, and even shots from fiction films. For example, I use old photographs from previous missions of the ngo. I mainly use archival footage of the mission of Burkina Faso and how they taught adults how to manage water.

2) The technique of Talking Heads. Talking heads are the interviewing of people shown in their offices (sometimes with a wall of books behind them) or their homes. In my case, I interviewed him in his house with some African masks behind referring to Africa.

3) Jiggly Camera. Since in Africa, it is very difficult to film properly so the wobbly freehand camera is used.

4) Voiceover Narration. Used it basically to make it easy to follow the story.

5) the main convention of documentaries is real people and I followed it basically by Interviewing a real person called Coco Sanemeterio.
