How does Kiscoart Documentals Achieve success

When talking about Documentaries, Kriscoart's documentaries always come up in my mind. Kriscoart is a filmmaking youtube channel and company based on the core values to Learn, Create, and Share. The editing and VFX tutorials, lighting workshops, and short film breakdowns make the channel a perfect reference. That is why, as part of my research I decided to analyze and identify his techniques for Editing and producing the perfect Documentary.

Before filming

I've learned that before the filming process you should become familiar with the person and environment and link the environment, lighting, and camera to the person vives. An example is in his latest documentary how he positions the car collector that is being interviewed in a huge garage with antique cars and the story was about a car of his inside the garage.

While filming

Kiscoart taught me about starting with a wide shot and then getting detailed shots and zooming with focal lenses, this makes the documentary more professional. Adding on, in his productions he doesn't follow rules to portray his subjects and what they are saying. also, he changes lenses to capture more intimate moments and keeps rolling at all moments just in case any true moments occur.
